Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Ages 15 and up
All skill levels, 60 - 90 minutes
Learn traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by incorporating grips and holds using the gi (or kimono) to maintain control and apply submissions, such as joint locks and choke holds. Classes start with a short warm up followed by application of technique, and end with rolling. Depending on the day, some Jiu Jitsu themed games or team challenges are introduced. The class may also include drilling and some additional strength and conditioning activities designed to increase fitness, strength and stamina.
